Needing to prepare for a drug testing can be very difficult at times. There are several types of tests that can be administered, but to make it even more confusing – there are hundreds of detox products that can be used to prepare for such a test. Making a right decision is crucial since, in most cases, it is vital to obtain a successful drug test result.

    -         Hello, I am so glad I got through. I have a quick question – I am getting confused with what product is the best for me. I see there is a lot to choose from, I just need a little guidance. I was a daily user up until yesterday, and I will have a urine test in about ten days, so I think I just need a detox drink to be ready for my test, am I right? I see all this other stuff, but I am just not sure – I need the best thing I can use. Please, help me!

    -         A detox drink is always a good idea to aid the successful passing of a drug test. Frequent usage means a higher toxin level, so if you have time to prepare we suggest you make use of a complete detox program which will help you to lower your toxin level to begin with and better prepare you for the test day and increase the chances of passing the test.

    -         Oh, great! I am glad I asked – yes, I have the time, so I will get on it right away! I am sure I can use some body cleanser anyways – I have been polluting my body for a number of years now! Thanks!

  • The Truth About Sunscreen: Why it’s chemicals are often found in Detox Products

Posted on May 3rd, 2011 How to pass

Recently we ran a series of articles about all the ingredients in our Detox Shampoo. Surprisingly many of the chemicals and organic ingredients found in the Detox Shampoos are the same as the ones found in sunscreen. Why is that?

The sun sends out many types of radiation, but sunscreen protects our skin from the two most damaging types, UVA and UVB rays. UVB causes sunburn and skin cancer, while UVA cause wrinkling, and aging of the skin prematurely. There are different levels of protection you can have against the sun; they’re called SPF – Sun Protection Factor. The higher the SPF of the sunscreen the higher a percentage of UVB rays the sunscreen is blocking.

The combination of chemicals in sunscreen is used to provide a broad-spectrum level of protection against the sun, and other types of radiation along the UVA and UVB spectrum. And just like your skin, your hair can take damage from the sun. Sun can destroy your hair by breaking down the structural bonds, sun streaks are an example of the damage done over a long period of time. Energy and radiation from the sun don’t just chip away at the outer shell of your hair strands, but actually deteriorate the interior of your hair, which is why colors fade so easily and readily.

The sunscreen ingredients in the Detox shampoos protect your hair from sun, as well as having the unique ability to protect the toxins in your hair from detection. They coat your hair in much the same way that sunscreen coats your skin. Because these chemicals are present you can rest assured, that just like sunscreen on your skin reflects back the UVB and UVA rays without taking any radiation into the skin, the chemicals on the hair protect the toxins from detection during the testing process.

Make sure to use all products with care and by following the instructions closely.

Don’t be so fast taking that weed wacker to those beautiful yellow dandelions growing in your yard.  Many people can’t stand the sight of them because they’ve been told that dandelions are bad.  You can’t have them in your yard or the homeowners association will make you move.  Well, dandelions are an integral ingredient in our detoxifying tea blends.  Herbalists consider dandelions a very valuable herb for medicinal and culinary purposes.  Dandelions contain a rich source of minerals like potassium, iron and zinc as well as vitamins A, B complex, C and D.  Dandelion leaves and roots have been used throughout the centuries to treat liver problems.  American Indians would boil dandelions in water to treat various ailments from kidney disease, heartburn, stomach problems, swelling and skin problems.  The Chinese have used dandelions to treat digestive problems, appendicitis, and problems relating to nursing mothers and the flow of breast milk.  Many European herbalists use dandelions to treat fever, eye problems, diabetes, boils and diarrhea.

The root of the dandelion is primarily used as a digestive aid and appetite stimulant.  It is very beneficial to the proper function of the gall bladder and liver.  The leaves are used as a diuretic to stimulate urination.  The yellow flower of the dandelion is a very good antioxidant and will help fortify your body’s immune system.  Liver detoxification and maintaining proper kidney function are some of the most beneficial functions of ingesting parts of the dandelion.

Posted on April 29th, 2011 How to pass

    -          Howdy, miss. I am calling you because I need a few questions answered. They gonna have a hair test done on me and I gotta know how I can pass it. They did one last week, and I really need to pass this one because it is very important, so I need the best stuff you all have. I have been clean for a long time; it is kind of hard to remember when was the last time I used, but it looks like they really do wanna find what it is in my hair since they are doing this test again.

    -          Do you know the results of your previous test?

    -          Nah, they did not tell me how I tested, they just requested another one. I assume that the only reason why they would want another one is if I failed the first one, I would think…

    -          Yeah, that is logical. Well, do not worry – we have an excellent shampoo that will help you pass the hair drug test. It is very concentrated, starts working right away and all you need to do is just use it on the same day as the test.

    -          Oh, do you have one that I can use now and be clean from now on? I do not know when the test is going to be, and I am not sure if they gonna do several tests or just one – I mean, if they asked me to come in twice, there is no guarantee that they will not ask me three times, right?

    -          Unfortunately, such shampoo does not exist – hair is a dead element, there is no blood flow in it, hence it cannot be permanently cleansed.

    -          Aha… Even if you scrub it real good?

    -          I am afraid not…

    -          Well, alright, send me some of that stuff – I really need it!

Tea Time!  Do you enjoy a nice hot cup of tea in the morning, afternoon or night time?  Do you also enjoy a few tokes off of a joint in the morning, afternoon or evening?  Well the tea is legal but the pot is not.  The metabolites from marijuana and other substances can pile up in your system and stay there for a very long time.  If you are subject to drug screen tests you may be at risk of failing your test.  This is where a detoxifying tea would be most beneficial for you.  You can lower your toxin level by following your normal routine of having your daily cup of tea.  These detoxifying teas do not contain just ordinary tea leaves but also a collection of various herbs that by themselves have been used for centuries to help different cultures to rid their bodies of harmful toxins.

One of these herbs is alfalfa.  Alfalfa is a wonderful detoxifier as well as a diuretic.  It is rich in vitamins and minerals as well as protein.  Some of the vitamins are vitamin A, many vitamin b complex, vitamin D, vitamin, E and vitamin K. Alfalfa contains such minerals as calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc and iron.  Because alfalfa contains a derivative of coumarin, which helps reduce blood clotting, it may help protect the body from fatty plaque build up along the artery walls.  It can help reduce swelling and inflammation and relieve digestive tract disorders and urinary tract infections as well as kidney, bladder, and prostate disorders.  It also helps with constipation. It is especially helpful with maintaining proper liver function, pituitary gland function and colon disorders.  Alfalfa also helps to lower cholesterol.  Alfalfa was discovered thousands of years ago by the Arabs who found it so beneficial to their diet that they named it alfalfa which loosely translated means “The father of all foods.”

  • How do you use it?

Posted on April 26th, 2011 How to pass

When you think you know something, make sure you know it right.

    -          Hello, I was on looking on your web site and I need something to help me pass a drug test. I want to buy this human pee thing I saw advertized here, but I am not exactly sure what it is and how to use it. My friend told me he passed his drug test and that I can pass my test with it too, but it was too weird to ask him all the details about it. Can you tell me more?

    -          Absolutely. First of all, it is not human but synthetic urine. Each sample was specifically created to have all the characteristics of human urine – color, consistency, gravity, normal Ph and creatine level; but it does not go bad in a short period of time, and there is no need in refrigerating it. Shelf life lasts for up to two years.

    -          Oh, I see. I was wondering where you get this stuff from if it was human. Does it come with a special thingy? You know what I am talking about?

    -          No, synthetic urine comes in a small flask-like bottle. There is a pouring cap included for easier disposal of a sample, but no other devices.

    -          I see. But how do I keep it warm then?

    -          There is a heating pad included with each kit, and there is a temperature strip on the bottle to tell how warm it is. Heating pad keeps it at normal body temperature for up to ten hours.

    -          Oh, wow, they thought of everything, didn’t they? Ok, let me get this thing. My test is tomorrow so I need it fast…

  • What’s In My Hair?! Part 19 Propylparaben

Posted on April 25th, 2011 How to pass

Propylparaben is a lot like Methylparaben in that its primary use in cosmetics and skin care products is as a preservative to prevent fungal and bacterial growth so that the natural products we like to use on our faces and skin stay just as fresh as the day we purchased them. The main difference between this and Methylparaben is that this particular paraben is a preservative most often found inside of liquids, where as you’d find Methylparaben inside of solids most often. Propylparaben is typically a water based preservative.

As far as toxicity of this chemical is concerned, it – unlike Methylparaben before it – is an irritant to the skin and internal system when used in high concentrations. The concentration found within our Detox Shampoo however is minute, so there is little worry on that front. But be advised to look at your normal skin care products and hair care products for ingredients like this that are often included in the ingredient list, but can cause more harm than good when not used in minimal amounts. The use of the Propylparaben here is not only as a preservative for the product, but also a preservative of your hair.

With the Detox Shampoo being a masking agent, and needing to coat the hairs on your head or body, you need to make sure that since it’s going to be there for some time (usually a 10 hour span) that the product isn’t going to go bad quickly or even at all as they lab will cut the hairs away from your head and body and take a few days to process them. So long as the products use a preservative in them and the product is still active on your hair during the time it was removed from your body then there is little worry that your particular hair sample will have gone bad in the time it took the lab to process and test the sample.

  • The 411 on 420

Posted on April 22nd, 2011 How to pass

What does 420 really mean when you are speaking in code about marijuana use?  Each one of your pot smoking friends may tell you with absolute certainty their own explanation of what “420” really stands for but how do they know?  The term 420 has been universally accepted in the lexicon for marijuana.  It has joined the ranks of commonly used words or phrases like weed, dope, ganja, smoke, reefer, and herb.

Here are a few of the misconceptions about the term 420.  Some believe that is a police radio code number for marijuana smoking taking place, as in 911 standing for an emergency taking place.  This is false.  There is no federal code for 420 and the California penal code for 420 is the hindrance of use of public lands, a misdemeanor offense.  Another commonly believed fallacy is that 420 stands for the number of active chemicals found in marijuana.  This is also false.  The average amount of chemicals found in marijuana is about 315 depending on the plant.  A third definition is that it stands for April 20th being National Pot Smoker’s Day.  This wasn’t how 420 got its start but April 20th has now unofficially turned into National Marijuana Smoker’s Day.  It also happens to be Adolph Hitler’s birthday, go figure?  Another popular theory comes from deciphering the Bob Dylan song Rainy Day Women #12 and 35 where the lyrics implore that “everybody must get stoned”.  People with too much time on their hands or too much cannabis on their brains figured out that 12 times 35 equals 420.  Brilliant!  But still not correct.  Some believe that 420 got its origin because tea time in Holland is at 4:20 p.m. but it is actually either 2:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.

According to High Times magazine, a reputable source for all things marijuana-related, the term 420 got its start in 1971 at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California.  A group of about a dozen young pot smokers who called themselves The Waldos would gather at the statue of French chemist and microbiologist Louis Pasteur on the school’s campus at around 4:20 p.m. every afternoon to partake in their favorite pastime of smoking marijuana.  They started to use the term 420 as a code for marijuana use that they could say in front of their parents and be very discreet about it.

Today, there are events held all around the world on April 20th to fly your freak flag, so to speak.  From Hippie Hill in San Francisco, California near the Golden Gate Bridge to Tallahassee, Florida to Boulder, Colorado people will gather together to advocate the decriminalization of marijuana. In Ottawa, Ontario in Canada thousands of people will gather on Parliament Hill to spark up their weed at exactly 4:20 p.m. on April, 20th in a show of solidarity for the legalization of marijuana.   Such “smoke out” events also take place in Montreal, Quebec and London, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia on April 20th. Countries as far away as New Zealand also have similar celebrations of marijuana on this unofficial holiday for marijuana smokers.

The term 420 has been so widely associated with marijuana that it has manifested itself in strange ways throughout pop culture.  For instance, in the movie, Pulp Fiction, all of the clocks are set to 4:20.  Check it out next time you watch that film. California’s medical marijuana bill is called SB420. So the next time anyone from Generation X tries to lay claim to that term you can tell them that old people came up with it first.  These people are now in their fifties and Louis Pasteur has been gone from this earth since 1895.

  • Cocaine – how it came to be Part 2

Posted on April 21st, 2011 How to pass

Back in late 1800’s and early 1900’s cocaine became a quite popular tonic and was included as a main active ingredient in many soft drinks, tonics and even wines. People of all ages and social classes had an opportunity to indulge in the consumption of such product with euphoric effects – this fact is usually does not pop up in the “brief” historic descriptions of cocaine, but it is true anyway. Back then people did not realize the true effects and side effects of the drug, so it was actually advertized and promoted by celebrities of the era. Among people to publicize the miraculous effects of cocaine-filled elixirs were Sarah Bernhart and Thomas Edison – Hollywood star and the man who invented light bulb had followed in famous physiologist’s footsteps. There were no constraints on who and how often could obtain the substance in any of its forms, so eventually cocaine has entered into large segment of American society and became a part of drug culture of the era. Silent film industry also heavily promoted cocaine use as a part of new lifestyle, and the message was reaching out to millions of people and also across the ocean into Europe.

But not only cocaine was a new fad of the time – such drugs as heroin and opium have also entered into many lives, mostly as parts of tonics and potions that cured anything – from toothaches to sexual impotence. Many medicines combined both cocaine and opiates as active ingredients to treat various ailments.

  • What’s In My Hair?! Part 18 Methylparaben

Posted on April 20th, 2011 How to pass

Methylparaben is a chemical used often in a variety of cosmetics and skin care products because it acts as a preservative against fungal organisms. Interestingly, because it is an organic based anti-fungal treatment it has also been known to be found in certain pesticides to prevent, or rather slow, the growth of flies and other bugs.

It is organic in origin, though it can be synthesized in a lab. Naturally though, it can be found in many varieties of fruits, namely blueberries. As it is an organically based chemical it is considered safe by the Food and Drug Administration to be used as a preservative in small concentrations, whether its use is in our food or our cosmetics. Another bonus of it being organic in origin is that it is completely bio-degradable, so as far as most chemicals go, this one is far ahead of the game by not only being safe for us, but a far better chemical for the environment overall.

It is a very gentle and non-irritating chemical which is why it is so widely used in cosmetics. There are only very rare cases where a person is allergic to methylparaben, and in those instances it was always due to ingestion of the chemical as opposed to topical application on the skin. Even in those rare instances where an allergic reaction occurs the amounts of Methylparaben used was far over the acceptable limits found in our foods and cosmetics, meaning that for you to have any reaction at all to this particular chemical you would need to use at least 50 times the normal amount to see an effect, if any at all.

The true or full name for Methylparaben is actually methyl p-hydroxybenzoate. Technically this chemical is actually a member of a family of chemicals known as “Parabens” which are compounds that all possess anti-bacterial and anti-fungal abilities.
