  Does it matter how you consume a substance? Does it have same effects if consumed differently? Does it influence a drug test outcome?

  - I use THC, pretty much on daily basis, and I need to go for a test sometime soon, and I was just wondering if I can pass it on my own or not?
  - If you are a daily user and have a test soon, you won’t be able to pass on your own: you need to stop using, lower your toxin level and use a detox product on the day of your test.
  - But what if I don’t smoke it, but use a vaporizer? That is different from smoke and I don’t think that it will give the same test results on a drug test…
  - A vaporizer removes all the harmful toxins from marijuana smoke, reduces tar, etc., but the active ingredient – cannabinoids – stays present, since the psychoactive ingredients evaporate and you get the same effect from the vaporizer as you get from smoking, just without any hazardous smoke to your lungs. In other words, toxins enter your body and you test positive for marijuana.
  - Can they tell how you were using it?
  - No, but it will not matter – whether you smoke it, inhale or eat cookies – it all will give the same positive result.
  - I see… Ok, so what was that detox product you were talking about?

  Vaporizers heat cannabis to 356° – 392° F, just below the point of combustion where smoke is produced, are let users inhale active cannabinoids while avoiding harmful smoke toxins. At this point, THC and other medically active cannabinoids are emitted with little or none of the carcinogenic tars and noxious gases found in smoke. But THC is still THC, and does not leave your body for a while. So no matter how you consume, make sure that you are prepared to pass a test with confidence.

  Customer calls and asked for my opinion about how he has been subjected to hair drug testing over the past 2 months and they do them as random as they do urine drug test. So he proceeded to inform me that he drinks on a regular basis and does not do drugs. So I explain what products we have to offer for alcohol (almost all of our products).

  He went on about how he has been failing even when using other products. So, we decided it would be best if he tried the Folli-Kleen Intense Hair Cleanser. I explained the “ins and outs” what to do and not to do while using this specific product. I received a phone call a week later, he was yelling at me. He said he tested positive for alcohol. I calmed him and asked him to explain what he did.

  He said he followed all directions. He said he was having a bad hair day so he threw some hair spray and gel onto his hair before he left the house to go take his test. I cut him off and said, “Ok, that is the problem sir. When you put the hair product in your hair before you left all you did was add alcohol to your hair.” The staff here at Detox Shops explains to all of our customers not to use anything in their hair after using the detox shampoo. So, we agreed he should order another and not use anything the next time he goes for a hair follicle.

  Needless to say due to human error he failed the first time. About a week later I received and email from this gentleman stating he passed. Just another satisfied customer.

  With marijuana becoming legal for medical use in more and more states, a question how to pass a drug test for people with prescription comes up. Even when it’s legal, some people just prefer not to show it to their employees.

  -         Hi, I have a sort of weird question for you: I need to pass a drug test for THC, but it is prescribes to me by a doctor, so I shouldn’t have any reason to hide it, but unfortunately employers do not like to see it. So much for having it legalized…

  -         I see. So, you use on daily basis, right? How much do you weigh? And when is your test?

  -         My test is in three days. I’m about 160-165, and yes, I’m a daily user. I haven’t stopped, even though I knew that my test was coming up, because of my health issues and at first I wasn’t going to hide it, since I have the prescription for it, but then I found out that they still don’t accept it even with the prescription, so now I need help.

  -         With daily usage on such a short notice the only thing that will work for you would be synthetic urine.

  -         Fine, I used it before, years ago, when they weren’t even thinking of making it legal yet, but tell me something – can they tell what you use? Can they see that I also smoke, or just that I take Marinol? Is there a difference in a test?

  -         Well, depending on the quality of marijuana that you smoke, it can contain up to 400 different chemicals, and Marinol is just a pure THC derived in a lab. In a standard drug test, like immunoassay and GCMS tests, no difference can be distinguished between them two, but if necessary, more tests can be done with the same sample to find out what exactly was consumed.

  -         Oh, really?! I thought they couldn’t tell whether you smoke or take Marinol. I’m glad I called – it’s important to know this stuff, even if I’m getting synthetic urine, you know.

  Although a growing number of states allow medical use of marijuana, only some employers in those states allow for medical marijuana, most do not, and those under federal regulations are specifically forbidden to do so. Make sure to inquire of your company policy well in advance before a drug testing.

• Drug testing for everything!

  New laws, regulations, and requirements are being introduced to the Federal Government. Suggestions like drug testing for Unemployment recipients, Welfare recipients, Medicare recipients, and Workers compensation.

  I have received an alarming amount of calls over the past few weeks from customers who are use these benefits and are being called at random to be drug tested for specific agencies. Medicare, Social Security, and Social Security Disability have been doing most of the testing.

  Most of these people are being sent to there Family Physicians for hair drug test, urine drug test, saliva, and sometimes blood drug test. Now not everyone is friendly with their family doctor so be careful when addressing a drug testing with your physician.

  Luckily, I have been able to help my customers out. Some had already had an awesome report with their doctors and their physicians gave them insight on what to look for to help them out. Others just called in a nervous panic and made sure the products would work.

  The world works in crazy ways nowadays and more laws are being changed whether it is temporary or permanent they are still there. We have Temporary fixes for long-term problems or long-term fixes for temporary problems. The choice is yours.

• There really is a Nicotine drug test!

  Recently I have been getting phone calls for nicotine drug testing. The test in Laboratory terms is “Cotinine”. Testing companies test for nicotine in all possible ways. Ways like urine drug test, blood drug test, saliva, and hair drug test. The detection times are different for all of these tests.

  For Urine it depends on the cutoff level for the testing device used. The detection time is anywhere from 2 days to 10 days. The better the testing device the longer the detection time.

  For blood drug test it stays around the 7-10 day time span.

  Saliva tests are extremely sensitive and the cutoffs could be at the 1/ng (1 nanogram) this will detect for 7-10 days.

  Hair drug test are the main issues whenever a person is tested. Hair is a dead element that is fed through a vein in the follicle so it constantly has toxins left in them. The cutoff levels are typically 2/ng, which you can detect in a hair follicle at least up to 90 days if not longer. This depends on the test that is being done.

  When is comes to Nicotine don’t think they cannot find amounts in your system. They can!
  For urine drug test there are detox drinks, detox kits, and synthetic urines.
  For blood drug test there a cleansing programs.
  For saliva there are mouthwashes.
  For hair drug test there are detox shampoo.

  For being a smoker and I don’t mean Marijuana don’t feel like your left in the dark. We have all the right detox products for your needs.

• Am I different?

  How do toxins enter your body? What is the exact reason why it will stay in your body for longer? Or maybe in your case it would be different?

  - I have a test coming up, and I was wondering if I will be good to pass it.
  - When was the last time you used, and what was it?
  - Oh, it’s pot, I smoke just once in a while, not everyday, and I’m a pretty skinny person and all…
  - When did you last smoke?
  - Oh, it was like four-five days ago.
  - And when is your test?
  - My test is in a couple days – I just had an interview and need to go there before I start, which is next week.
  - You will need to use a detox product on your test day, you won’t be able to pass is on your own.
  - Yeah, I was actually wondering if it possible that I can. See, every time I smoke, I go to the bathroom like crazy. I mean, really, it makes me pee a lot! So, do you think that it is flushed out of my body as I consume it? Is there a change that it does not stay in my body at all?
  - When you smoke, do you feel the effects from it?
  - Well, yeas, of course!
  - In that case it cannot be flushed out as you consume it, right? In addition, THC is fat-soluble, so it cannot be flushed out by water. Perhaps, when you smoke your mouth gets dry and you consume plenty of fluids, and that’s what makes you urinate a lot. Get a home-testing device and found out for sure, but I can pretty much guarantee that without any products you will test positive.

  Customer called back a couple hours later and purchased a detox kit for a urine drug test. THC does not leave a body easy – it stays with you for a while, regardless of number of times that you go to the bathroom. Always test yourself to be prepared before your test.

• I want to fail!

  It is a little strange – to hear that somebody needs to fail a test, but that actually does happen! Apparently, it is quite easy to test negative for everything, especially if you know when your test is and what product to use. But sometimes it happens that you need your sample to show something, what’s then?

  - Hi, I’m in a little bit of a pickle here. My situation is a little complicated that others’. I need to pass a drug test for marijuana, but need to fail for other stuff.
  - What is that other stuff that you’re talking about?
  - Well, I have certain prescription medication: percocets and oxycodine, which are basically both opiates.
  - How often do you smoke?
  - Every day.
  - And you take prescriptions on daily basis aw well, right?
  - Yes. And I tried using quick-flush detox, and that worked, but it worked too well – I tested completely clean, and I do need to show that I’m taking my meds, you know?
  - I see… Did you take your meds on the day before your test and the day of?
  - No, it said that I need to stay off any kind of toxins 48 hours before the test, so I didn’t use anything for two days, and I actually stayed off pot for a whole week before that.
  - All right, so you’re on the right track there. Use the same product that you did before, but if you need your prescriptions to show, do not stop using them.
  - But what if the product won’t work then? They’ll see that I’m smoking!
  - As long as you are reducing THC levels, the product will conceal it, but if you need something to show – keep the toxin level at its high.
  - Ah, ok, got you! Thanks a lot!

• Bleach you would not do this

  The rumor is going around again that if you ingest bleach it will help you pass your urine test.

  This is absolutely false. No one knows exactly how this rumor got started or where it started. More and more reports are showing that specific chemicals are showing up in Urinalysis test with people who ingested bleach.

  Some reports even show when a lab, probation officer or potential employer notifies a person of failing results or they ask for another sample the person is either in the hospital or in dispose due to the bleach consumption.

  I read a story once that reported a person passing out during a court hearing. When the ambulance arrived he told the crew he drank bleach a few days ago because he knew he was going on probation so he wanted to give them a clean specimen.

  Bleach is a very dangerous chemical. Not only is it harmful to inhale the fumes but it will also cause serious burns, irritation, bleeding, and other health related problems if it is consumed.

  Read the label on the bottle next time you use it. It clearly says CALL POISON CONTROL!!!!!!

  Anyway there are better options out there on the market for a few dollars more that will not harm your body. Try detox products or abstaining from toxins for your drug testing needs.

  Buyer Beware!

  I am sure you have heard this before right? Well I will caution you myself. Over the past few weeks I have been working my daily grind and have been receiving an alarming amount of calls regarding specific products that were purchased in a store or a different website. These are products that we do not carry nor do we have any knowledge about.

  Here are a few questions you should ask yourself before purchasing:

  Have I ever purchased here before?

  Has a friend ever purchased and been successful before?

  Do they have a representative you can speak to on the phone?

  How long have they been in business for?

  How long has the manufacturer been in business?

  Did you read anything online about them?

  Where are they located? What state?

  Now these are a few simple questions you can ask online, in person, over the phone or through an email.

  Look out for “Party Shops” or “Head Shops”! Some of these stores have been known to sell knock off products or out dated products that have expired or been pulled by the manufacturer due to a low success rate. Be sure you check the expiration dates on the products and examine them to be sure there is not damage or alterations.

  Don’t hold back when you’re on the phone with a representative or in a store you know what it is that you are trying to do. Don’t think that the most expensive product is always the best product. Always heed the manufacturer’s guidelines. Follow the directions make sure you understand what kind of time frame you need in order for the product to work.

  REMEMBER: The longer you abstain from any drug or toxin the better the products will work. Manufacturers usually require a minimum of 48 hours clean. That does not mean use a drug 2 days before a test.

  Sometimes you can find yourself in a situation where a little tiny mistake on your part can play a great role in decision-making. When you do something, you can never foresee all the consequences from that decision.

  - Hi, I have a question for you. I have never used anything in my life, although my friends do it all the time, and it don’t bother me. But the thing is, I was at a party, and I got pretty drunk, and one of my friends dared me to drink the water from his bong. So I did. But now I’m gonna have a drug test, and I’m freaking out that I’m not going to pass…
  - Sir, how often and how much time do you spend in a company that is smoking marijuana?
  - Well, we get together at least once a week, maybe twice, sometimes.
  - Is that a closed room?
  - Yeah, they keep the windows shut so the neighbors don’t smell anything.
  - In that case, not only the water from the bong is your concern, but also a second-hand smoking. Did you test yourself?
  - No, I can’t find those things anywhere!
  - I see. When is your test?
  - My test is in two days.
  - Ok, more than likely you have some THC toxins in your system. Get a detox drink and take it two hours before you go – that will keep your urine clean for several hours.
