Not a good combination
Successfully passing a drug test is what every person wants to get during an employee drug testing. Depending on the job you have, such tests can be as frequent as monthly, or even weekly, or vice versa – once right before you get hired. Every test is different, but cost to employers is never cheap. Besides having to abide state regulations, they have to pay for the drug testing themselves. If the type of testing is not specified, there is a good chance employer will choose the cheapest option available – usually it is a urine drug testing, or a saliva drug testing. However, certain companies are obligated to perform a hair test…
- Hi, I think I need some advice. I just started a new job, and I had to go for a hair drug test as a part of a contract. So I did, and they say I failed it for THC! I never used anything like that in my life! I do not even know anyone personally who smokes things like that. How could I have possibly failed? Is there a way to prove that I am clean, and ask them to re-test? I read somewhere that certain baby shampoos can make you test positive for marijuana – is that true? I am using shampoo for babies because I am allergic to practically everything.
- Yes, it was brought to public attention some time ago, but I am not sure if manufacturers change the formulas of baby soap and shampoos, but if you are confident that there is no such stuff in your hair – definitely demand a re-test, and further analysis will distinguish between THC/marijuana and baby shampoo residues.
