Preparing for the right kind of test
It is hard enough to pass a drug test when you know that you are still dirty. But what makes it even harder – is when you’re not sure what kind of test it’s going to be.
The other day a lady called in asking for advice. The situation was not that complicated, but she was in complete panic. Her company introduced a new policy according to which all the employees needed to pass a drug test. She spoke with a co-worker who had it done before her, and following an advice she prepared herself for a urine test by purchasing one of the detox drinks. However, when she got into the testing facility it turned out to be a saliva test – she was completely unprepared for this one! Needless to say, she failed it. Blaming the positive results on prescription medication she was using, she requested a re-test. That’s when she went on-line in order to do a proper research and found us.
- It says on the web that I need to brush my teeth with hydrogen peroxide. Does that help? It turns my gums white. Should I be concerned? My test is tomorrow, and last time I smoked was yesterday – I was so nervous I had to smoke. Anyway, will my white gums look suspicious, or should I stop now?
Hydrogen peroxide does not help in eliminating toxins from saliva. The only proper thing one can use for a saliva test is either toxin cleansing mouthwash or effervescent tablets – the products that are specifically designed to make saliva clean of any toxins, even if the last usage was as close as 24 hours before the test.
