When following directions for proper use of a detox product, make sure you know the timing of it. If it is not a permanent body cleanser that you are using to rid your system of THC, then more than likely the detox product will provide effects that last only for a certain period of time. Generally, the window of time to pass a urine drug test after using such a product lasts for three to five hours. However, for saliva drug test the window of time is much shorter.

I got this thing, it is some sort of gargle thing – I need to pass a swab drug testing in a couple hours, and I need help figuring out how to use this thing. -          Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with that particular detox gargle, but generally with the saliva detoxification products it is recommended to stay clean and clear of all toxins 48 hours before your test, and then on the test day use the product as directed.

-          But it does not give any more directions than that! What do I do? My test is today!

-          Ok, take the product 5-10 minutes before the test – since saliva is constantly produced, a detoxifying mouthwash or a gargle would not last for too long. I am not sure if it is safe to consume the product you have, so just spit it out once you are done.
