Your Body is a Wealth of Information
Even if you can’t remember the last time you did something that you were not supposed to your body will remember. Your blood, urine, saliva and hair are like the memory cards on your camera. They hold the bits of information that may have slipped from your memory.
Do you remember that wedding reception or bachelor / bachelorette party that you had one drink too many and can’t remember if you took a hit off of that joint that everyone passed around? How about that barbeque that ran late into the night and someone had a little of the Devil’s dandruff? Did you or did you not partake? That is the question?
A simple drug test will let you know. THC metabolites can remain in your system for quite a long time and smoking pot does affect your memory so you might want to consider using a home test to see if you are testing positive for substances that your employer or parole officer might frown upon.
Even if you do know exactly when the last time you smoked a little pot, the THC may stay in your system a little longer these days than when you were younger because as we age our metabolism slows down and it takes longer for the THC to leave our system. Another factor is the pot is a lot stronger today than it was twenty years ago. Growing marijuana has turned more into a science than a hobby and today’s weed is not your father’s marijuana. The THC content is a lot higher (no pun intended).
Home testing is a way for you to gauge your body’s inner workings when it comes to your toxin levels, so be sure to check the oil every once in a while with a home test.
