• Faint line

  One time a customer called very worried that his girlfriend would fail a urine test. She had been looking for a job for a very long time and finally got the opportunity. The only problem was they were infrequent cocaine users. Now from a single use, cocaine should stay in the system for 2-5 days. But in their case it was a little different.

  “Hi, I’m really concerned about a urine test my girlfriend has to take. We do cocaine sometimes. We did it on Friday night, about an 8 ball and some on Saturday night. She got a call on Monday and they want her to come in tomorrow. Tomorrow will be 4 days since she last did. She can not miss out on the job. We purchased a testing device from the pharmacy and she tested her self. There is a very faint line. It is hardly there. What does that mean?”

  “If there are 2 visible lines, one being darker and the other being very faint, then she is still passing. This result is very close to failing and if the cut off level at the lab is different then the at home test she might even fail.”

  “What can she do to pass her test?”

  A lot of people use home testing devices. If you have 2 lines on the test no matter how faint the line is, you are still passing, but it is very close to failing. If the cut off level at the lab is different then the at home test, then this can cause you to fail. If you come up with a faint line, try using a detox kit or other product just to be sure.

• Purified water?

  We all know what they are looking for in the drug tests. A standard test: THC, cocaine, opiates, methamphetamines, and amphetamines. But what if you stay clean but fail a test anyway? How is that possible?

  - I haven’t been smoking weed for over a month now. And back then I didn’t smoke too much. Every once in a while I get that stuff off the internet, it gets me almost half as high, but at least it’s something, you know. It is supposed to be completely legal and not show up on the test. The thing is, earlier this week I had a test and I failed. I can’t understand why.
  - How often were you smoking it? Were you mixing it with regular marijuana?
  - No, no, I wasn’t mixing it and only smoke once in a while, but actually, now that I think of it… the pipe that I used was dirty. I’ve had that for years and never cleaned it after I quit pot. So, I guess that’s why, ah?
  - That seems to be it…

  Marijuana residue does not raise toxin level in a body by much, but it is better to be safe than sorry – check yourself with a home test before going for an official one.

• Filtration

  One time a customer called, she had to take a urine test and smoked Marijuana on a daily basis. The lab did not watch her or search her but she did not want to use synthetic urine. Instead she thought it would be a good idea to use something to filter her urine.

  “Hi, I had a drug test a couple days ago. I know this may sound really stupid but I thought a coffee filter might actually filter the toxins out of my urine. I smoked until the day before my test thinking this idea might actually work. I folded the coffee filter as many times as I could and I peed on it. The urine went through and into the cup. I was pretty confident I would pass, but I failed. I need to take another drug test sometime soon. What would be the best thing for me to use and why did the coffee filter not work?”

  “The coffee filter did not work because drug metabolites are completely soluble in urine and are impossible to filter. The kit I would recommend you use is called the Fast THC marijuana detox kit.   In a search for the right product people get desperate:

  -         If you don’t have the thing I am looking for, I’d rather not have anything at all! I don’t care if it works as good as the other one – my buddy passes with that, and I want exact same thing!

  It is pretty confusing already how to make a right choice, with all that’s out there, but once you got what you need – what is the next best alternative? Here is one of the stories:

  -         I had synthetic urine, and I thought that I was going to use it, I heated it up and all, so I was ready. They didn’t call me for a test that day, but they called my buddy, and he was freaking out, so I gave the bottle to him. I didn’t think that they would do another set of tests the next day, but just in case I got some of the yellow food coloring and I always have with me a couple of jugs of water. Sure enough I got called the next day! I drank all that water with some food coloring – you know, so it would look yellow – but they said that I need to do it again! Why does synthetic urine passes and regular urine with plenty of water doesn’t?

  -         Synthetic urine is made to match all that is expected form a standard urine sample: temperature, color, specific gravity, PH level, creatinine level, etc. Diluted urine equals to water, and presence or absence of toxins cannot be detected in a diluted sample. The products are developed by the professionals, and no home remedies can match up to them.

  A laboratory designed clean urine sample will pass you without any questions, that is, of course, if you can use it. Any home remedies that you might think of – some amount of a research needs to be done on those too. Diluting with water and adding color to it won’t work, simply because the labs cannot test a sample full of water.

• Longer than usual

  One time a customer called because he had snorted heroin. Now, heroin normally gets out of the system in 2-5 days from a single use, but it stayed in his system a little longer. This might be the reason why:

  “Hi, I snorted heroin 6 days ago and I had a urine test today. I thought I would be clean for the test since it was the first time I had done it in a while. 3 days ago I was washing my face and some water got up my nose. I snorted in the water and felt a drip of heroin go down my throat like I snorted a line. I did not pay any attention to it. Do you think that could be the reason it was still in my system?”

  “It was either that, or your body did not completely clean itself out yet. When you are so close to your deadline, as in the drug is supposed to be out of your system in 5 days and your test is in 6, you’re better off using a detox product than risking failing your test. Next time you have a urine test, use one of our Fast kits, unless you are 100% sure you are clean.”

• When in doubt

  - How long do toxins stay in your body?

  This is the question that is being asked at least ten times a day. For different toxins it is a different time frame, but one is true for all toxins – they get trapped inside of hair and stay there until it is cut off.

  - How far back can they go? If the toxins stay there forever, can they see what I did last year? – The customer had a hair test coming up and was doing a “research.”
  - Technically, they could, if your hair was long enough, but usually they don’t go further than three month back.
  - Oh, great! I quit smoking exactly three month ago! So, I should be good, right?
  - Not necessarily. Toxins stay in your body for a while after you’ve quit, – THC stays with you for at least several weeks after your last time, and meanwhile hair grows contaminated, so you might need to use a detox shampoo on your test day.
  - No, I think I should be fine. If I stayed clean for three month and my piss is clean now, I think I should be fine.
  - M’am, clean urine does not guarantee clean hair sample. If you stopped smoking exactly three month ago, they still might detect toxins in your hair.
  - Ok, thank you!

  The conversation ended too abruptly and I didn’t have a chance to tell her about our hair testing kit – if for some reason you don’t want to use a detox shampoo on your test day, make sure to test your hair beforehand. There are private labs that will do testing exactly like the ones the do official tests. Clean body does not guarantee clean hair sample, so it might be a good idea to get the pre-paid hair test and let a private lab give you accurate results before you need to face something inevitable.

  Needles to say that she called us back asking why she did not pass.

• How negative should I be?

  We always suggest to our customer to check themselves with home-tests before going for an official test. The question that arises sometimes is: faint “test” line – does it mean positive or negative? Normally, a faint line is considered a “weak negative” which means that a person is very close to the cut-off level of the test. If drug metabolites are below the cut-off level of the test – you get a solid “test” line.

  - I tested negative at home, and they told me it was negative at their test, too, but they said they had to send it out for further analysis. Why is that? Am I going to fail? They are going to do a GC/MS on it.
  - Of a sample tested negative on the initial drug test, that same sample will also test negative on the GC/MS. Normally, it would be a waste of time and money to send it for further analysis when it is already tested negative. If a sample was diluted and they could not draw any conclusions on it, then yes – further analysis will be needed.
  - Well, I tested myself at home, and I got a pretty solid line, and I went for it right away, so you think I should be ok?
  - GC/MS would only confirm negative results on the sample.

  If you pass a home test, you are very likely to pass an official test too.

• Valentines Day surprise

  A couple days ago we got a phone call from a girl who was very upset. She had been without a job for quite some time. She got called in for an interview, they gave her a drug test and she failed. She had no idea why she failed, but she got very lucky they let her re-test.

  “Hi, I took a drug test 2 days ago and failed. On Valentines Day, my boyfriend bought me flowers and chocolates. I was pretty happy that he got me something and planned a nice romantic dinner. After dinner we came home. I opened the chocolates and we started eating them. After a while I started feeling kind of different but did not pay any attention to it. We had a lot of fun laughing and fooling around with each other. Yesterday I had a urine test and failed. I do not smoke marijuana and only did a couple times in my life. I came home very upset and told my boyfriend that I had failed my test.  He did not know I had a test to take and asked me why I did not tell him about it. I asked him what the difference would be if I told him and he said if he knew he would not have put marijuana in the chocolate. How do you put marijuana in chocolate? I never heard of anything like that before. Now I look back and realize why I felt so strange. I was so mad at him that I did not ask why or how he did it. My re-test is in 4 days. Do you have anything that will help me pass?”

• Too much creatine

  Not all situations are complex, but even a simple solution can get complicated.

  This customer had a urine test coming up and needed a simple detox drink. He hasn’t used for a while, was very active and pretty lean, but could not pass on his own – just before calling us he tested positive on a home test. Also, he was very interested in at-home detoxing, but apart from staying hydrated, there is very little one can do. With a purchase of a detox drink, we were sure he’s not going to have any trouble passing his test.
  It was very surprising when the same customer called back in a couple days: apparently, he did not pass his test. He didn’t fail neither, but was contacted by the lab and was asked to re-do it later because his creatine level was off the charts. Being a regular at his gym, our customer was taking creatine shakes on daily basis. The detox drink already contains creatine, and for some reason he thought that doubling up on that will be harmless. In a case of an instant testing that might have had no effect, but in a laboratory test they looks for normal characteristics of a sample – temperature, PH level, creatinine level, etc. He purchased another drink but this time he didn’t drink anything else but water with it. He passed successfully.

  When purchasing a detox product – please follow the instructions and do not take anything other than required. All the products already have everything that you need to pass a test.
