Back in 1980s one smart man, Jeff Nightbyrd, started a very extravagant and what seemed like promising business – he started selling clean urine. A local Bible study group provided the “product,” then it was tested and packed for sale. Customers were happy, and it the business started to grow, but then it hit an unexpected obstacle – human urine goes bad very quickly and plastic bags with tubes that were used to store it caused trouble in selling and transporting it. After multiple attempts to provide an apple juice instead of a sample, or colored water with yellow food dye in it, a synthetic urine sample was created.
