  • Who to test?

Posted on January 31st, 2011 How to pass

You would be surprised to know how many different researches have been done associated with drug users and drug tests. For instance, there has been a study on what professions are associated with the use of illicit substances more often; thus predicting who are more vulnerable to drug abuse and people in what jobs should be tested more often. Certain types of jobs require more physical strength, more intense and/or are more stressful than others. Monotonous physical motions, odd-hour shifts, overtime and late working hours – all that contributes to a desire to “relax” at the end of the hard day. Easy access to pharmaceuticals considered a tempting factor, so doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists and so on – they are all prone to constant drug testing on a regular basis. According to the research results, such professions as waitresses, construction workers, auto mechanics, truck drivers, people involved in food preparation have the highest rate of illicit drug use. Alcohol use showed high in these categories as well. Such occupations as police officers and detectives, teachers and child care workers, administrative support and state clerks showed the lowest rates of both illicit drug use and alcohol consumption. But then again, these professions are the most targeted among employee drug testing rules and regulations because these people deal with children, or are dealing with dangerous every day situations. And the last, but not least, – the Federal government workers; there is absolutely no toleration for any positive reading for any type of drug tests, so people working in that field tend to say “no” to everything but their job. So, depending on what you line of work is, you can either expect to be tested constantly, or just barely – the research information can be used both ways, for employers and employees.

  • What’s In My Hair?! Part 2 Propylene Glycol

Posted on January 28th, 2011 How to pass

Propylene Glycol is the next ingredient listed on the back of the box. Propylene Glycol is a colorless, thick, moisture absorbing liquid often used as an antifreeze and in brake fluid. But because of its innate ability to retain moisture, it is also often used in skin lotion and cosmetics.

Propylene Glycol is also the main ingredient used in most moisturizers because it tends to not only retain its moisture, but can even help prevent things from losing their moisture. Things like massage and fragrance oils, as well as many tobacco products, use propylene glycol to help stabilize the moisture content, so they do not dry out too quickly.

Because the toxic nature of Propylene Glycol is so low, it is safe to use in products intended for humans. It can become toxic when extremely large quantities are used, but in small quantities it is imperceptible to the body. Because of this, the Food and Drug Administration have declared Propylene Glycol as “Generally recognized as safe” for human consumption. So, despite there being quite a lot of information out there on the internet claiming that Propylene Glycol is not at all safe to be used and can in fact lead to liver problems and kidney malfunctions – you should ignore such facts. The FDA would not have concluded that Propylene Glycol was safe in any way if after their extensive research on the subject they had come across any such conclusions about the chemical.

As for hair, Propylene Glycol is again used as a moisturizer because again, it retains the moisture content. Which means that the use of Propylene Glycol in the shampoo or conditioner helps prevent hair from losing its moisture throughout the day.

  • What should be done if…

Posted on January 25th, 2011 How to pass

Passing a drug test is not the easiest thing to do, but a quite possible one. But what happens after you passed it? You got the job, and started smoking again (or drinking, or whatever is your preference) – you should keep in mind that supervisors and managers have their own policy and action steps they need to take in the case of an employee who appears to be under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs. Rules and regulations require certain actions taken after it is determined that a person is under the influence:

    1. Consult with another manager or supervisor, and escort the employee to the supervisor’s office.

    2. Before asking the questions indicated in the handbook (“Questions for Suspected Alcoholic or Substance Users”), make sure that there is a witness to the investigation.

    3. Complete the “Observation Checklist” (this is where the manager would check the appropriate description for person’s movements, walking, talking, general demeanor, appearance and clothing, anything particular about eyes, face, breath, etc.)

    4. Ask the employee for permission to conduct basic on-site Coordination Examination.

    5. After this it should be easy to determine whether or not an employee is under the influence of any substances. The person may either return to his or her work station, or be accompanied home.

    6. Arrange for a physical examination of drug/alcohol testing as soon as possible, if it was previously determined that an employee more than likely was a subject to using illicit substances at work.

Note: During the entire process, careful notes should be taken for future references and documentation.

  • What’s In My Hair?! Part 1 Aloe Vera

Posted on January 24th, 2011 How to pass

The first MAIN ingredient (aside from water) in The Zydot Internal Hair Purifying Treatment is Aloe Vera, more specifically the aqueous extract of the Aloe Vera Plant. What that means is that they take the leaves of the plant, and wash them thoroughly with clean water, chop the leaves up into little tiny pieces, and weigh out specific measurements to then be placed in a blender and soaked with even more water. Then the now blended mixture is filtered to remove any pieces of the leaves – creating a solution of Aloe Vera in water at a 25,000 Parts Per Million concentration. So, in essence, it is just Aloe Vera that has been hydrated so much it looks and feels like water.

Aloe Vera has long been held in high regards amongst scientists. Though the research on this plant is extremely varied, and the conclusions that can be drawn from that research highly contradictory, what is not under question is just how useful this plant can be. The plant itself normally grows only in very dry climates and is often found and distributed throughout Africa, India and other such dry/desert countries. Most often Aloe Vera is used in herbal medicine. Some of the more common medicinal uses for the plant include its ability to relieve things like indigestion (it is an effective laxative) and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. It can also help alleviate problems like heartburn, arthritis, and rheumatism. It can ease congestion, hemorrhoids, urinary tract infections, and can also be used to help strengthen teeth and gums. Aloe Vera vapors (from boiling the leaves) are also known to help with asthma symptoms.

While medicinally it is a very useful plant, in Beauty supplies it is also in high demand for its abilities to reduce tissue damage from severe hot and cold weather, and even soothe burns while removing any bruises. Also Aloe Vera helps to reduce symptoms like rashes, or blisters and any skin irritations.

But for hair, Aloe Vera has some surprisingly handy uses. It can help to speed up hair growth, reduce dandruff, and even heal the scalp from inside while also balancing the pH level of the scalp. Aloe Vera also is used to help clean out the pores of the skin, including the skin on the scalp.

Our Premium Detox 7 Day Comprehensive Cleansing Program is the perfect choice for someone who is looking to completely detoxify their body of any unhealthy impurities.  Some of our detox products are only meant to be used for the short term or limited detoxification process but the Premium Detox 7 Day Comprehensive Cleansing Program is for the long term cleansing.  It contains many vitamins and herbs that have been used for centuries to heal the body.  One of these herbs is called Gentian Root.  Gentian root, also known as feltwort, bitterwort or bitterroot, is derived from a perennial that is found mostly in Central Europe.  The roots of this plant are collected in the fall and dried out before using.  Gentian root is used primarily to increase the appetite in people recovering from acute diseases like dyspepsia, or painful digestion, by increasing the flow of gastric juices. It is a helpful remedy for indigestion, heartburn, anorexia, diabetes, intestinal parasites, stomach aches and liver, pancreas, and gall bladder problems.  It also strengthens the spleen and stimulates urine flow.  By purifying the blood Gentian root helps to treat liver problems.  Gentian root is blended to make a tea to treat stomach ailments.  People who suffer from poor circulation would benefit from Gentian root because it invigorates the blood and stimulates circulation to all parts of the body.  It also helps the intestines absorb fat which in turn helps prevent flatulence and bloating.  Gentian Root will help reduce fever and is used to relieve symptoms of the common cold.  The herb Gentian root has a bitter taste and is usually mixed with other ingredients such as licorice or honey thus earning the nickname bitterroot.  Before hops were introduced into the beer brewing process, gentian root was used because of its bitter taste. It is also used in making the flavor of vermouth.  Gentian root was used as a popular antidote for some poisons in the Middle Ages. It is also believed by many to bring good luck in love and romance. If you have high blood pressure or are pregnant you should avoid the use of Gentian root.

  • Approaches to drug testing Part 2

Posted on January 19th, 2011 How to pass

In addition to Military and Legal approaches to drug testing there are:

Business approach – this approach deals with drug abuse in the workplace. A company policy should be all-inclusive and comprehensive; strict guidelines should be noted for a failed or invalid test; a convenient for everybody procedure should be established – the one that will get the employer what they need and also will observe the privacy of the employees. There is a direct correlation between the performance of an employee and drug abuse. The costs of drug testing should be compared with the costs that can be endured by the company when an employee does not perform to full strength, also safety and security issues may be present.

Security approach – this approach is somewhat similar to the business one, but the matter of fact presented in the way that highlights the danger and the risk that drug users impose on the company and co-workers’ safety. This approach requires an immediate and permanent dismissal; it involves random drug testing and random search, utilizing trained dog patrols and undercover agents, etc. It comes up to be a pretty expensive procedure – to actively search for drugs, and needless to say, this approach is not the most popular one.

Medical approach – this approach involves treating employees that have failed a drug test through a program known as EAP (Employee Assistance Program) which offers treatments and services of professional rehabilitation. In contrast with the security approach, which treats a failed drug test as a crime, the medical approach it is viewed as a disease or a bad habit, and people are assisted in “getting back on track.”

  • Do not use your pee for any reason when it comes to synthetics

Posted on January 18th, 2011 How to pass

If you plan on passing a drug test and your only option to know you will pass is using a synthetic urine then stick with that. The reason for the synthetic is it comes prepared in a bottle already or a powder form you mix together before the test. I like to recommend the premade bottles from Ultra Pure or Quick Fix. These companies have a very strong reputation and they keep their name by backing their products 100% except for DOT drug tests.

These products are not recommended for cv online https://kiteessay.com/essay-writing monitored drug tests i.e someone watching you pee in a cup unless you have some kind of fail proof system to give a specimen in front of someone without it coming from your body.

There have been a few people out there who have posted psychology essay horror stories that they failed because the buy psychology essays online synthetic did not smell like urine so they urinated in the cup to give it a urine smell. Yes. Urine does have a specific smell to it. More cases then most you smell urine when your body is not hydrated enough or you have some kind of infection. So when you’re asked to give a specimen for any reason and you plan on using synthetic urine then just use that DO NOT urinate in the cup, dump it, and refill with the synthetic so there is somewhat of a urine smell for the lab to smell. I honestly have not heard that many horror stories that lab personnel are sniffing your pee to make sure it is legit.

The tiniest amount of your own “hot” urine meaning positive for an illegal substance will cause you to fail if you mix it with synthetic urine. Your own bodily toxins will over run the synthetic and cause the positive you didn’t want in the first place.

  • Canada’s new drug impairment testing is a video game

Posted on January 18th, 2011 How to pass

The “Factor viagra super active 1000” was introduced back in 1992 for truck drivers and to viagra cheap see if they were ok to work everyday. Since Canada does not have specific laws like the US does with truck drivers they would use this “Video Game” to make sure the employee was fit to work that day.

Now it is being introduced as a DUI/DWI machine to see if someone may be buy research paper https://psychology-essays.com/essay-writing impaired at the time of an arrest or conviction of any kind. This is kid of odd to me but it makes sense. Considering Officers in the US give Field Sobriety Tests, Breathalyzers, and even transport to hospital for blood work.

    https://psychology-essays.com/essay-writing

This machine may save psychology essay taxpayers millions if there was one specific test to determine if someone was under the influence or not. The closest thing we have to this is the Field Sobriety Test which is performed by 1 or more officers. They test for things like your balance on one foot, counting skills, saying your alphabet backwards (which I can’t even do on my most sober day) and a few others like walking a straight-line heel to toe, following a penlight.

Now this can all be simplified by putting someone in front of a video game to see if they can remotely center a cursor in the middle of the screen. It checks for accuracy, reactions time, and of course if you’re a repeat offender they will compare scores to other times you were subject to this test.

Amazing isn’t it? There is no real way around this unless you are a functional drug addict or drinker. Sometimes the dumbest things seem to work out best.

  • SHAMPOO DETOXIFIER: What Makes it Work?!

Posted on January 18th, 2011 How to pass

We often get asked by customers “How exactly does the shampoo work? What specifically does it do?”

Usually this question is asked because a customer is afraid that the product will show up on their test as a ‘masking agent’, but this is not the case. Not only will the product not show up as a ‘masking agent’ of any kind, but so long as all directions of use are followed, you will not have any problems. The most common problems that occur with the shampoo in preparation for a Hair Drug Test include:

    1. The level of toxins in the body is extremely high.
    2. People don’t follow the given directions.
    3. Customer did not use enough product (1 pack of shampoo is enough to cover up to 5inches in length).

But, again, so long as you follow all instructions and directions of use, you will not have to worry. The main function of these Shampoos and Conditioners is to get into the hair follicle and cleanse it of any unwanted toxins hiding there. The reason that a failed test may occur when a person has so many toxins in their systems is because the chemical make up of the shampoos is like any other detoxifier. The molecules of any detoxifier (be it a drink, a shampoo, a pill or a mouthwash) work their way into the blood stream/hair  follicle/urinary tract in an effort to bond with the toxin molecules and then pass through/wash away from your system, carrying the toxin molecules with them. When the toxin level is already quite high to begin with, then a second treatment will be a necessity as the first treatment can only absorb so many toxin molecules.
