I had a gentleman call in and said he had not smoked any marijuana in at least three years and then he went to a concert and took one hit of a joint.  Lo and behold, seventeen days later his company gave him a random drug urine test.  Talk about bad timing.

You can gauge how long the THC will stay in your system by taking a home urine drug test and then stop smoking.  You should test yourself every week until you test clean and you can approximate how long the marijuana will stay in your system.  Using this method, you can determine if you need to purchase a detox drink if you think that you will be tested before you think that you will be clean.
