Drug testing is a technical analysis of your specimen like- urine, hair, blood or saliva for determination of the traces of drug or its metabolites in your system. A hair sample is cut close to the scalp and about 90 to 120 strands of hair are required for the test. In absence of hair on the head, body hair can be a substitute. Although cosmetics and other form of adulterants can reduce the amount of metabolites present in the hair, it is really difficult to tamper a hair drug test.

URINE DRUG TEST:

Urinalysis is the most common test type and considered the Gold Standard of Drug Testing. Urine drug tests detect the presence of drug metabolites in the urine sample provided by the subjects. The results being popular and the test being inexpensive, urine drug tests are most preferred. But a disadvantage is that these drug tests are much easier to adulterate.

SALIVA DRUG TEST:

Saliva drug test check the presence or absence of drug metabolites in human saliva. Generally a bit costlier than urine tests, they are a reliable alternative. They can detect a very recent drug use. How to pass a drug swab test is not a difficult task with its short detection window ranging from few hours to 3-4 days and also with the availability of drug testing solutions in market. It is difficult to adulterate these samples. Results are available within minutes.

BLOOD DRUG TEST:

Blood drug test is the most expensive and a rare method of drug testing. It is generally preferred in high profile agencies and insurance companies. You need to follow a four to six day program including diet, fluids, daily supplements and detoxifying solutions so as to cleanse your body and pass this drug test to attain your goals.
