  One afternoon a customer called up asking about hair follicle testing.  He had just graduated from college and had been looking for employment during the past couple of months.   He had finally gotten offered a great position at a bank; the only bad thing was that he would have to take a hair follicle drug test.  He was an occasional marijuana smoker at the time, so he knew there would be at least some traces of THC in his hair.

  After making sure that the hair on his head was at least 1.5 inches I recommended to him that he use a shampoo designed to rid his hair of the THC for the test.  He purchased the product and he was all set to take his test.

  A few days later the same guy called us back freaking out.  Apparently he had gone and gotten his hair cut a few days before the test, so when he went in for his test, the collector told him the hair on his head was not long enough.  Normally when this is the case they would take a sample from your leg, armpit, chest or another part of your body.  If a person doesn’t have an adequate amount of hair for testing, they sometimes may be allowed an extension for a few weeks so that they can grow the required amount of hair. In this particular case the customer was unable to get any kind of extension and he had to give his sample right then and there. It would have been bad enough just to have his sample taken from his chest or leg because he only used the detox shampoo on his head. His body hair would still be dirty.  To make a bad situation worse, the guy was a swimmer and therefore shaved all of his body hair.  He walked into the room and did not know what was about to happen. He kept asking where they were going to take the hair from and if the hair on his head was long enough. He repeatedly told them he has no hair. They laughed and made him take off his pants. They took the sample from his pubic area!  He was in shock!!! Imagine standing there with your pants off and someone snipping your pubic hair!! Wow!! Well he failed his test and could not get the job, but now he knows to keep his hair long.

  I was working one Saturday morning and a woman called inquiring about our detox shampoo and which one works the best. To her horror and surprise her hair was bleached and looked orange! She asked me if there was anything she could do and why this happened. I explained to her that our company does not carry the product that she used and therefore we have no information about it. She would need to call the manufacturer of who ever made this product and talk to them.   It was a very busy Monday morning at work. The phones were ringing off the hook with people calling for tracking numbers, confirming their orders and asking advice on which products to purchase. Just when it seemed I would get a break from the chaos, again the phone rings. A gentleman was calling from the stall of a store bathroom. He proceeded to explain that he had a drug test to take that day and he had purchased a large, dark Detox drink from a local head shop.   My sister, who lost her job due to the economy, became depressed and started using cocaine. She had recently been looking for a job and actually found one that was going to hire her.   This is a true story, this really happened.
  Somebody I know was getting drug tested at his job, and, of course, they only tell you that a couple days before. Following a path of least resistance, my buddy got a bottle of synthetic urine.   Is it possible to pass a urine test if a person was clean for 1 month and then smoked the residue on their bowl? What if his test was in 2 days?
  A friend of mine had a situation like this one. He was clean for one month, which still meant he had some toxins left in his body and then 2 days before his test he decided to smoke the residue on his bowl. • Passing a drug test with someone else’s urine.

  Using somebody’s urine to pass a drug test may sound like a good idea, but there may be several obstacles that one could encounter.

  As an example, here is one of the recent experiences. A person had a urine test scheduled, but he knew that he would fail the test for sure using his own urine, as he was a heavy marijuana user (1-2 times a day on a daily basis for past 6 years). So why not to use a friend’s urine? Sounds like a good idea. Done…

  After filling the specimen with friend’s urine in the lab, the person was told that they needed more and was asked to provide more urine. Of course, at that point there was no extra friend’s urine left so he had to use some of his own. Would that addition make him fail the test?

  Well, it depends on the person’s level of toxins and the amount added. With the given situation there’s a big chance that the test would be failed. But the end of the story was that the test came out as cocaine positive and was failed. You are asking how could that happen? A person asked his friend before the test specifically about marihuana use, but the friend who was free of marijuana did cocaine in the past.
