THC Oral Drug Test

Drug Tests are named after the sample that they use to scan for the presence of drugs. Therefore there is the urine test, blood test, saliva test, sweat test and the hair test. Marijuana is the most popularly used drug in the United States as well as in many other locations across the earth. In the common language it is known as pot and is especially popular among school and college goers. Tetra hydro cannabinol (THC) is the psychoactive element in pot and is usually detected in the urine drug test. Sometimes a THC oral drug test is used to detect pot use. To pass a drug test using saliva as the sample, you either need to be a non-user or extremely lucky. A cotton swab is inserted in the mouth of the person being tested and is left there for a couple of minutes till it is saturated with saliva. This swab is then placed on a colored test strip. Depending on the response of the test strip, the person is declared to be a user or non-user of pot /other drugs.

Because the sample is collected in front of the conductor of the test, there is no chance of substituting or tampering with the sample.
